教育背景
1978年毕业于吉林大学化学系,1983年和1986年先后获得该校硕士、博士学位,1989~1992年在美国新泽西州立大学从事博士后研究。
工作经历

现任吉林大学化学学院院长,无机合成与制备化学国家重点实验室主任。

学术兼职

兼任中国化学会常务理事、副秘书长《无机化学学报》副主编。

学术成果
系统地开发出三个系列二十余种全新微孔晶体,率先将温和水热化学应用于无机固体功能材料的合成,并在具有代表性的功能复合氧化物与复合氟化物体系获得突破。在水热条件下控制缺陷、混合价态、纳米粒子、无机螺旋链的生成、扩展水热合成技术等方面一直处于国际该领域发展的前沿。发现了单一元素三重混合价态、原子尺度整流器以及固相原位自氧化还原反应,揭示了功能无机材料和生物分子的水热生成规律。
